छावा

आज मला खूप आनंद झाला. सद्ध्याच्या काळातील युवा पिढीस समजेल भावेल, तो भिडेल असा चित्रपट पाहण्याचा योग आला. आपण जस आपल्या समजत्या वयात एखादी कलाकृती पाहतो आणि शौर्य, एकनिष्ठा अतूट प्रेम यांचे सर्व गुणसंपन्न अशी हीच ती व्यक्ती अशी छबी मनात कोरली जाते. आपल्या इतिहासातील छत्रपती शिवाजी महाराजांचा तसेच छत्रपती संभाजी महाराजांचा जीवन प्रवास आपण लहानपणापासून वाचत ऐकत आलो आहोतच तो या पिढीस त्यांना पटेल समजेल अशा मार्गानी त्यांच्या मनापर्यंत पोचण ही माझ्या दृष्टीने श्री. विकि कौशल यांच्या कलाप्रदर्शनामार्फत समोर ठेवलेली उत्तेकर सरांची संकल्पना चित्रपटा मार्फत "छावा" नावानं पोचते आहे. ही मोठी छान बाब आहे. चित्रपट कसा आहे ग? यावर मी हेच उत्तर देणं पसंत करेन.

उत्स्फूर्त उर्जेच्या, या नवीन पिढीतल्यांना शिव विचार पोचण हे काम यामुळे नक्की होईल. होतच असेल. तसेच आधीच्या पिढीच्या काही अजाण लोकांना ज्यांच म्हणणं अस आहे की छत्रपती संभाजी महाराज दुदैवी होते, अशाना जबरदस्त चपराक बसण्याच कामही हा चित्रपट करतोय, करेल.

आयुष्यात संघर्ष असताना सर्वांची मोट बांधून प्रतिनिधित्व करणं सोप नाही. विवाह संस्कृतीचा गाभा समजून घेणं समजणं आणि तस जगणं याच उदाहरण जगासमोर यातुन येत. आज ही पण गोष्ट अत्यंत महत्वाची नोंद घेऊन निदर्शनास आणणारीच वाटते. चित्रपटातील सर्व मावळे, त्यांची एकनिष्ठा त्यांचा त्याग, सच्चा मित्र असण्याची ती निभावण्याची वृत्ती हे सर्व गुण जे जीवनात मोलाच स्थान दर्शवतात. ते यात पाहून विचार केला जातो की काय निखळ मनाचे दिलदार लोक त्याकाळी होते. शरीरातील एकेक अवयव विलग होत असूनही क्षणभरही न कण्हणारा राजा आपण पउद्यावर पाहतो, काळीज लाही लाही होतं ते पण भर एसीमधे. कसं सहन केलं असेल त्यांनी?.... 

आमच्या इतिहासात पण ही गोष्ट सविस्तर कशी नव्हती? हे प्रश्न पण पडतातच. म्हणून ही पिढी आमच्या पेक्षा नशिबवान वाटते. शिवविचारांची मालिका या चित्रपटाच्या निमित्ताने आपल्या मनात घर करतेच करते.

इतिहास वाचला गेलाच पाहिजे. तो माहिती पाहिजे. तो आपला वाटता पाहिजे. तर तो रूजेल. रायगड, संगमेश्वर, वढू, बुराणपुर, शृंगारपूर, पुरंदर, पन्हाळा, सज्जनगड अशा अनंत जागा प्रत्यक्ष साक्षिदार म्हणून आहेतच. त्या एकदा तरी जाऊन पाहाव्या अनुभवाव्या वाटू लागणे साहजिकच आहे.

छत्रपती शिवाजी महाराज आणि छत्रपती संभाजी महाराज यांच्यावर आधारीत छावा चित्रपट नक्कीच पाहावा. वाचून, सांगून पण न समजणाऱ्या अनेक गोष्टी हा चित्रपट पाहून आपल्याला एकदम अंर्तमनात नोंद होतात. चित्रपटातील प्रत्येक कलाकाराचे, तो बनवणार्याचे तसेच पडदया मागच्या सर्व हातांचे अनंत आभार!

आज प्रथमच अस होतय की जे बघितल ते उतरवून काढण्यासाठी मन धजतच नाहीये. ती नजरेची जरब, ती आई वडिलांविषयीची भक्ती, घनिष्ठ मैत्रीची उदंड भावना, समाजासाठी दिलेल्या शब्दाची धारदार जबान, समर्पित होतानाची तीव्र तीव्र ईच्छा, त्या ईच्छेतून निर्माण झालेली निर्धाराची कृती, शब्दाची मोलाची किंमत..  अवर्णनीयच वाटली. शब्दच नाहीत... चित्रपटातील प्रत्येक प्रसंग अनुभवून सकारात्मकपणे नोंद घेऊन जगण्या सारखाच आहे. तो मी लिहू शकणार नाही. त्याची धार कमी होईल... तो पाहूनच अनुभवावा "छावा"

That's why I think the current generation is lucky. The movie "Chhava" instills Shivaji's ideals in our minds. History should be read, known, and felt as our own. Then it will flourish. Places like Raigad, Sangameshwar, Vadhu, Burhanpur, Shringarpur, Purandar, Panhala, and Sajjangad are living witnesses to history. It's only natural to want to visit and experience these places at least once. The movie "Chhava" is a must-watch. It makes you understand and feel things that can't be grasped just by reading or listening. A huge thank you to every artist, the makers, and everyone involved in the movie! Jai Bhavani!
